Cooking through the world

One country.
One dish.
Every week.

I'm on a mission to learn about other cultures through food. Come along for the ride as I make a dish from a new country every week.

About Ethan

The world has a lot of
food to offer.

I grew up on a family farm so food was always close to home. It wasn't until college when I really got into traveling and cooking. I started posting recipes and things I cooked on an instagram page call Grays Color of Cooking just for my friends. Then I pulled together some of my favorite dishes into a cookbook for my family.

As I have traveled more, and cooked more I've learned how much unique culture and cuisine there is around the world. I want to bring some of that into my home. To challenge myself and learn more about the world, I'll pick a new country every week and recreate one of its famous dishes. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just honest food and the stories that came with it.

— Come cook with me.
